Chips: 3,968 | | | I need a 1/2 Kill-Kill button...and so do you! I've been looking for a 1/2 kill/Kill button. I finally found one...55c each. But minimum order is $20 (not including shipping).
So I either need 36 more people who also need a 1/2 Kill-Kill button, or I need someone who wants to buy $19.45 worth of merch.
Anyone?

Chips: 708 | | | Re: I need a 1/2 Kill-Kill button...and so do you! Do you specifically need a double sided button? I ask because I have a kill button sitting in my chip case that I never use, but its "Kill" on both sides. Its a little smaller than the ones I have seen used in casinos, just a touch bigger than a quarter.
I know it doesnt solve your need for a "1/2 kill" button, but you are welcome to it if you want it.... Just PM me your address and I'll send it on its way.
Oh, and for Capstone:
A "Kill" game is just like a normal limit game, say 4/8 holdem. However, If a person wins 2 pots in a row the next hand becomes a "kill" hand. In a "kill" hand, the limits double (in this case the game becomes 8/16). In a "1/2 kill" game, the limits increase by 50% (in this case the hand becomes a 6/12 hand). Also, the person who won the 2 hands in a row must post a "kill blind" which is the equivalent of the big blind of the new stakes (in this case $8 for a full kill, and $6 for a 1/2 kill). The button is used to show when there is a kill hand currently active. |

In cash games, if a player wins 2 hands in a row, he gets the Kill button placed on him and must post 2xBB. The Kill button stays on him as long as he wins the pot. As soon as he loses, the kill button comes off. Quote: |

More traditional ones are 99c from this website (click the picture):
But they are KILL on both sides... and minimum quantity is 100... They come from Trademark which also has a KILL-NO KILL option, but not a KILL-1/2 KILL... Quote: |

I wanted a KILL/1/2 KILL so I wasn't locked in to only playing a full KILL game. If there's not enough interest here, I may take you up on your offer.
Thanks!

Just about any trophy shop or shop that does engraving can make you one. Any size, color, font, etc.
Something that I would suggest would be that the 1/2 Kill or KILL button be the same size as the regular "Button", which is in the 2" range. MUCH easier to see and use though the game.
I've had several things like this made locally from the local trophy / award shop. Something like that should run you 10 or so buck.
I have a dealer who deals pretty regurlarly for me and we had him a name badge made up like in Vegas. (ran me 8 buck I think) | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
