You don't want it dominating (ala Chuck) your table, and the larger you make it the more of a screaming statment it makes.
Keep it small (like your first picture) so that it stays classy and not looking like a billboard, and I might recommend that since this is a custom printed felt (unless it costs a WHOLE LOT MORE) you print a "race track" about 6-7 inches inside of rail. I did this with my table and it has avoided COUNTLESS numbers of "Is that a bet?" or "Are you counting or betting?" scenarios.
Our house rule is, "If it passes the line, it is LIVE." So as soon as you win a pot, just shove it all behind the line, and stack it at your leisure. Leave it infront of the line and it will be considered a bet. Or if you want to count out a bet or raise, so long as you do it BEHIND the bet-line, you are not commited to the action until it crosses the line. |

My custom cloth was by lonestarpokercloth(s?).com and it is a real heavy duty (like on a black jack table) dense felt.
I clean it with a pool table brush and a sticky roller and I have zero fear of hurting it. This stuff is INDUSTRIAL and I have no doubt that it will last years of weekly abuse. Heck it's almost a year old now and the only thing I see different about it is that the white in my logo is a little dirty. Still white, but dingy but then again I've never really tried to clean it with any kind of solvent. |

I'll have to get a tape measure and see but I would go with the middle one if no betting line of maybe one half way between the middle and small one with a betting line.

I also prefer the smaller graphic for the same reasons you noted. |

The poker room is FAR more improved than in these pics (painted, redecorated, curtains, etc.) the table is the same though. http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/home-g...yesterday.html
I'll try to add some more updated pictures this weekend. |
