A statistics program?

i was playing in our league this past weekend and some cat was mentioning something about a program or website where you can check other players (on party poker and a few other gaming sites) statistics and win ratings for sit n gos....

if anyone knows the site, i'd appreciate it.

If you are talking about software, http://www.pokertracker.com is what your looking for. But it will only track players at tables that you are observing.

I don't know of a website that has those kinds of stats.

there is a site that pools hand histories, and has a pay subscription. i don't know it, but google might turn it up.

YEA I TRIED TO GOOGLE...

but to no avail...

my friends spoke of a site that gave your exact percentages....

winning percentage (like 43%) win percentage on specifically "sit n gos".....

and one guy said he got kicked out of party poker for using the program...

Poker Tracker and Poker Office both do this, but they are programs that track the players at your tables, or all the players you play against in a tourney based on hand histories.

It will give exact percentage stats on all players, including you, to two decimels (sp?). I like them both.

It's called poker prophecy, and it is very much banned by party. In fact, their web site offers a free trial of like 5 searches or something, and Party uses a cookie sniffer to locate people who have used even this free web based trial & sends them the pop up about using illegal software.

It isn't worth the risk of using, and I don't recommend it.

Pokeredge is another one. There is an easy way around the snooping that party does to detect it. Get ZoneAlarmPro and set it so it has to ask permission for programs to access the internet, etc. and when it pops up and says partypoker.exe is trying to track your mouse and keyboard movements, just deny it and it won't know its there.

pokeredge seems interesting...

any idea how accurate the info is on those things?

I got a free copy of poker edge for signing up at one of the party skins, its got alot of info on those players that aren't poker edge owners themselves (because they hide themselves from poker edge). It was pretty comprehensive.

Just be aware that Party is banning accounts that uses programs such as PokerEdge and PokerProphcey. Poker Tracker and Poker Office is still ok.
I agree 100% with that policy. Tracker and Office would not give you more than what you can do on your own with keeping good notes but the other programs will give you more than what you can do by sitting at table.
