Chips: 2,331 | | | I'm a believer!!! After playing with Royal cards for a while, I finally bought a setup of Copags. I am embarrassed....these Copags are remarkable. I will be throwing the Royals out as soon as I get home.
One question...i noticed that both decks are very slightly bowed....only VERY slightly. If I take one card and place it on a flat surface, all four corners are just a bit off the surface. I expected them to be PERFECTLY flat, is this normal? |

I have three setups and love all of them - much better than paper cards. The only other real plastics I have tried were some of the new kem's, but I had to return them because several cards developed splits along their edges about half-way through the very first game I used them in. No problems whatsoever with my Copag's after several months of regular use.

I experienced a little bending eventually with my KEM's (bridge sz.), but the Copag's are still perfect.

That way will bow them, so try to learn the corner/box method.

But I stress that the bow is VERY slight, maybe just under a millimeter above the table, but noticible when you press you finger on it to make it flat. |

You could also put them under a book or something overnite, that should do it too.

Too many posters here are expecting perfection and it leads to a lot of disappointment (as you might see from some of the ill mannered postings in the other forums ). They're just mass produced cards. Give them a little time out of the wrapper and with a little shufflihng, and they'll flatten out. If you're in a hurry, you might put the decks in between a couple of heavy books.
If you've tolerated Royals for all this time, this little thing shouldn't be a gating item, I think you'll be enjoying those cards. Quote: |

My main concern was that this may be an indicator that the cards would just get worse. I feel better from the replies that that they will get better. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
