Chips: 2,131 | | | Sunglasses in home games Whereas I can see where it may be of some small utility in a public game, I think that wearing sunglasses (especially if you're the host) may appear to be a bit too mercenary for the average home game, where having fun and enjoying the comraderie of friends are a priority. What do you think? |

Chips: 10,825 | | | I put a few do, but not me. It is really just one guy though. And he's not that good of a player which makes it really funny. He only wears them for tournaments. We have had 3 with 8 or 9 players and he's never finished higher than 5th.

A few non-regulars do it on occasion, and I ridicule them for it every time.
In my experience, any new player coming into our game wearing sunglasses is basically advertising that they watch too much poker on tv & probably suck.. |

Chips: 11,945 | | | I actually think it is gay on TV as well. Especially if you are Greg Raymer.

Chips: 11,404 | | | Anyone who does it at our games is doing so to poke fun at the clowns they see on tv. I do however like to wear a baseball cap when I play a public tourney, that way I can just tilt the brim down when I check my cards or after I make a bet to hide my eyes from the rest of the table.

Chips: 2,136 | | | Not for home games, but when I go to the casino, I wear a wide brimmed fedora, aviator style sunglasses a false moustache and beard and I smoke a really big cigar.
I've taken all my cues off Chris Ferguson.
And yes, people do make fun of me, but they stop as soon as they see how much money they can make off me.
Actually I don't do any of that, (apart from give my money away) and no-one, at any of the tournies that I have held has ever been daft enough to wear sunglasses either. |

Chips: 50 | | I only wear sunglasses when I play in on-line tournaments. Sorry if it distracts others... ..."but, my mom says I'm cool" (in Milhouse voice)

Chips: 11,945 | | After much consideration I may have to change my mind and start wearing sunglasses whenever I play. They just look too damn good on the Hammer to resist copying him.

Chips: 2,131 | | I'm so lame--I actually bought these with half an intent to start wearing them while playing:
