Absolute Poker with PSO signup
Alright, I'm venturing into my first real money account on Absolute Poker getting the free $100 through PSO. When I'm signing up, it asks me if a friend referred me (and I think we both get free money for it, although I could be wrong). Since I'd love someone here to get some free money, the first person to message me with their email address will be my new Absolute "friend". I'd prefer this to be someone who could use a little extra cash then someone who already has a decent bankroll. Any suggestions from wise souls who have done this before, before I finish my signup???
Thanks!
-Brian

Re: Absolute Poker with PSO signup
No one has a AP account that wants a referral? I know I just asked a few hours ago, but I want to play! I'll give it a few more hours, then I'm signing up, friend or no friend!

You should be able to use our PSO banner and then choose any site. Close all your browserrs and then come back and use this banner link:
Thanks!

Re: Absolute Poker with PSO signup
Perhaps I am missing something. When I register with AP, they ask if a friend referred me. I'm just asking if anyone has an email address associated with AP that they want me to enter so that they'll received $75 or $50 or whatever it is you get for referring someone...
I think I get how PSO works, and I am using that, but this is a bit separate (although it is together...)

You're not going to get a second bonus on top of PSO's bonus for refer a friend. It is a one or the other type deal. PSO already is the "friend" that referred you so to speak.

Re: Absolute Poker with PSO signup
PSO makes money from AP paying them for referring you. Therefore if you put down that a friend referred you, you will not get the PSO $100 IB.
Also you said that you are making your AP account into real money. If you had play money account at AP, you are not eligible for the PSO promotion.

Re: Absolute Poker with PSO signup
I didn't put a friend email so that I could still use PSO's deal. I may have just screwed myself with the play money thing... I never had an account with AP, but after signing up with them and PSO (waiting to hear back from PSO) I played a few hands of play money to see how AP "felt". Did I just disqualify myself from the promotion?

As long as you made the account after you went through PSO's link, you are fine. You just need to fund the account and play the required amount to get the reward from the promo.
Dad's comment is in reference to if you had an account at AP prior to signing up for one through PSO.
As long as you did PSO first and then the AP account through their link, you're good to go as long as you deposit and complete the requirements in their allotted time frame.

Alright, then I think I'm all good. I noticed that Party Poker was another option for free money, but I couldn't find a link on PSO for PP. Did I miss it somewhere?

Party Poker does not allow U.S. players. It is set up so you'll only see the sites you're allowed to play at.
