To answer your question, no, I didn't go the 3d route. Those diamonds that I have pics of were the first "chip sculpting" that I've attempted. I've seen the Jesus Ferguson castles before and they're simply amazing. I would never have the patience to actually go through with something that big though. Every time I start even thinking about doing something creative with the stacking, I want to skip the chip castle and just play poker. Then again, some people say I have the attention span of a ferret after a triple espresso. In closing.... ooh, look, that cloud looks like Louisiana.

648 Crystal Park's

I thought I'd take the challenge and see what I could come up with. I used all but two of my Crystal Parks. Knocking it down was more fun then building it, but it probably took me longer to sort the chips after then to actually put it up. Enjoy

Nice 1st post!

Very well done. In the 4th pic, it looks like the yellow chips are caving in - I'm surprised it was able to hold up the stacks on top!

J5

I still see unused chips on the table though....

those are great stacks!!! i think it is odd how the chips are caving in on that picture as J5 said. Was that intentional?

I took those pics as I built the tower, just in case it fell. The $5 chips caving in was not intentional, just a result of having a hollow middle. Looking at that picture, I have no idea how it held up. There's 648 chips stacked up, so the two you see on the table are the only ones remaining from my set.
