I finally did it. Took them all out and made stacks of 20 each from the racks they normally sit in. 3+ hours later I was done. I will never do this again -- what a pain, but worth a few pics. OK, a lot of pics -- I'm not a very gifted photographer so I just included a bunch with & without flash. Enjoy! The kids are still putting them away.
Oh, and for some reason I thought to look under the table part way around stacking chips and noticed that one of the folding legs must have come "unlocked" when I moved the table originally, and the leg was at about a 25 degree angle -- OMG, a few more chips and the whole thing would have failed. So I went and got some stools & shims to make sure if it did fail, there was a backup!
Now it's time to take them down....few pics for perspective.
We need a blubbering fool smiley because that would be me! Absolutely incredible.
I estimate there was well over 200 lbs worth of chips on that table. You were definitely taxing the legs. The chicken I am, I probably would have added the extra insurance even before I started laying chips out!
Now if somebody would please make this post sticky for UW's fellow CTers to show to their SOs with the comment, "See, honey, I don't have anywhere near the number of chips that this guy has."

I'm pretty sure there are several CT'ers who put me to shame -- Noel & Jamby come to mind, but thanks for the compliment!
