The Death of Art by Pet

I received a 300-set of Nevada Jacks. I began to shuffle them to get them "worn in". It took about four hours to complete, because as I shuffled them in groups of 10, I began to build.

The completed work can be found here: http://www.crankyweasel.com/?page_id=182

I didn't make any special effort to keep everything perfectly aligned, so don't be surprised.

I took the pictures, and then turned around to pack up the camera. Then I heard a loud crash, and a ball of terrified fur ran past me.

As I picked up the chips, I reflected on a lesson learned: when stacking your chips, put your pet elsewhere.

Sweet chip sculpture! On second thought, forget the chips, those are some killer monitors in the background.

How long did it take to stack those chips up like that?

Very nice...maybe you'll want to use a little super glue next time to insure the pet does not do it again..lol.

super glue... never thought of that. Sounds like a good death for a set of dice.

Great job scatcher like Brewster said it was hard to look at the chips with those LCD's in the background, nice setup.

Sorry guys, computer geek first chip geek second!!

That is one hell of a sculpture. Do you stack alike when in a game?

Well you don’t seem to have any stacking issues with them
And welcome to the forum BTW

Re: The Death of Art by Pet

Thank you for the compliments - it's my first ever chip stack.

Getting a promotional set of 300 more on Tuesday. Might try a 600 stack and see how it goes!

I got all inspired by some of the pics in here.

They're Samsung SyncMaster 940B-HAS's. Remarkably cheap considering how great the picture on them is. I paid $269 Canadian each.

One of my old CRT's started to die, so I picked one of these up. When I saw how faded and fuzzy the other one had become by comparison, I went straight back out and doubled up.
