Chips: 816 | | | Carry chips with you? Just curios how many people carry a few chips around with them to pracitce with while out doing other things?
My girlfriend laughs at me at work because at work I will walk over to her building to have a smoke with her and while I am walking I have three chips in my hand practicing the chip flip and chip turn. But in a week's time I am now able to do both of those tricks with both hands in my sleep!
Next is the butterfly, after I find a way to stretch my fingers to be an inch longer...

I practice shuffling and twirling all the time. When I'm on the phone, when I'm watvhing tv, when I'm playing p*. My wife makes fun of me, and so do the girls at work. In fact my nickname at work is Chip Chip. I can live with it.
The butterfly is next for me as well. But, given that I can't hold 4 chips between my fingers like that when I put them there, I think I'm a long way off. |

Fortunately for me, shuffling does not bother the Mrs. when we're watching TV or whatever.
It was a hoot watching my daughter at 18 months place a chip on the back of her hand for her finger-roll. A year later and she very respectfully handles my TR Kings (v. the mayhem she has with her own Nexgens, dice, Blue Chip samples, faux clay, etc.) - including returning them to me or whatever small stacks I leave out for shuffling. |

It's worse if I leave at night and my three year old daughter says, "Is daddy going to play poker again?"....does this mean I have a problem, especially since she's usually correct.

What's the best site to visit for info about chip tricks? |
