A Large Mosaic of Egyptians and Pharaohs

Here's another mosaic image, this time using the Egyptians (rounds) and Pharaohs.

(click on the image below to see a 2048x913 version)

2048 x 913 -- 1 MB

This image uses 7259 chips. Each chip is 60x60 pixels (in the full resolution version). That's A1 size at 300DPI.

If you want the full-resolution, poster-sized version of this (8211 x 3660 pixels), you can download it here:
http://www.captlego.com/Download.html
Be forwarned --- that download is 34.7 MB !!

I tried the AB thing.... it didn't work out. The problem is that without being able to render the fleshtones well, the mosaic beauty looks pretty bad. So I kept increasing the number of chips... until the mosaic had 10's of thousands of chips, was >100MB, and it still looked bad

Capt....that Chiptalk Mosaic is totally awesome! I used to do Mosaic Art, but mine never looked that cool!! (Of course, they weren't done with Poker Chips either)

Thanks!
Maybe when your chips come in, we can make a mosaic of them?
