Vinyl Labels from Rippedsheets (ie same as group buy)

I have gotten alot of emails from people in the past couple weeks since the group buy ended expressing interest in these. Unfortuneately I did not get any extra's but if enough people are interested I'm sure we can get another one going. If anyone that bought them from the group buy wants to drop a note here about what they thought about them feel free.

Cin0s3,

What type of label should I get locally to try out on my ASM roman mold chips to see if I like labels on them? I know there is no recessed area I just want to try and see if it works.

Thanks.

Yes, that would be great. I have received a couple sample labels from Ripped Sheets (like a 1" X 2" rectangle) so I would be very interested in what everyone thought about them. Especially those that have used "normal" paper labels in the past. A comparison would be very helpful.

As always, some pics never hurt!

Well I have received samples from Jason, as well as other labels (bestlabels and a couple others) and really like the rippedsheets as they are very thing and seemingly splash proof. Moisture really does a number on the paper labels I tried, and while they were not protected in any way, neither were the rippedsheets labels.

The only reason I did not get in on the group buy is my fear that they will take away their stackability. I love the way the ASM's handle right now, how I can push a stack of 30 into the pot without the stack shifting or toppling.

If someone has put their group buy labels on their HH's can post up and tell me how they compare to unlabelled HH's (say a stack of 20 of each) it would help me out a lot. But if there is any significant change I am just no interested because the last thing I want is a nice set of clay chips that move and slide like composites.

I guess you could try staples or office depot for some peel and sticks to see how they look.

Any Ideas about the shapes of these labels? Cin0s3 your cog ones look cool, but how many other shapes are there?

Also how can I get a sample of an actual vinyl label?

shapes are unlimited, whatever you can think up and can afford. They get prices if you dont buy alot. You can call them and ask them for a sample of the material, it wont be a round label but you will get a feel for the wuality
