Hey guys thanks for posting! Always great to pick the brains of fellow chips nuts!

Chipper this is kind of what I am looking into doing. I know the heart won't be red, I was kind of hoping for the denom to cut that part out and have the chip color show through.

Let me know what you think.

My Hot Stamping machine shipped out today (Finally ) and we will be offering a rainbow of colors that will available.

I wish I could show you pics of casino chips that were heavily used with stamping. Some that had initials on them had bits of the initial worn off completely after years of constant use. While the shine was no longer there you could still make out the lettering well.
I have such an image, I will post it when I get to work tomorrow afternoon.

So Boston! If I were to say contact you about hotstamping some chips how would this work?

Is it possible to have the design shown above done for several denominations? I would change the heart to a spade then have denoms of .05, .10, .25, 1.00, 5.00, 10.00? Is that possible? Then have the same thing done on both sides of the chip? How costly is that going to be?

Let me know here or by PM.

Thanks

It can be done, to do that we would need a custom die made for each denomination which will probably get more expensive than you are looking to do.

My guess is that it would be a lot cheaper to go with a single custom design on one side of the chip, and the denom on the other side (chances are, a custom die wouldn't have to be made for that).

Neat idea though, it'll be nice to see the results if you go this route.
