Design Software

I am new to the board, by the way its AWESOME. Love all of the chips and ideas. One question I have is how are you all designing chips labels on your computer? I am not aware of any programs that you can use for this, any hwlp would be great. I have used the search option and have come up short. Thanks in advance.

Adobe Photoshop is probably the most used program, with Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW also popular.

For bargain hunters, Photoshp Elements and CorelDRAW Essentials are good options.

There are a couple of shareware alternative, but I am not personally familiar with any.

You can try most any Adobe product for 30 days through the Adobe website. It's just a big download, so you will need a fast connection.

Try GIMP. It is a FREE-ware (open-source) product that rivals PhotoShop. It is a very feature-rich program and yes it is FREE.

There are versions for Windows, Mac and all flavors of Unix (including Linux).

Oh, and it's FREE.
