I thought I made that clear. I just showed him what he could find if he knew where to look. You don't have to be a lawyer to read statutes. Prison inmates do a better job on their appeals than many public defenders.

I know there are professional ethics codes, I just aced an exam on them. That's why I specified that this was not "legal advice" and told him he may want to contact an attorney. I am authorized to tell people that they might want to contact an attorney, that is never unethical.
Why would the bar association be reading this forum. They do background checks on you legal history and credit history, not what websites you visit or post at.

This statement is not true. There are worse things that
could happen. I never said anything about possible consequences or probability of legal consequences, so if you want to point fingers at someone for playing lawyer, point at yourself. I specifically said that I am not a lawyer, and any "advice" that you could get over the internet is not worth anything. But the statute is pretty self explanatory, so I figured I would put it out there. You don't need to be a lawyer to interpret it.
