I'd suggest perhaps looking for what their actual old chips used to look like and mock up something that looks like it as an hommage.

the pic that i did post is an actual old Binions chip... and i am pretty sure that is the date that it shut down... read and article about it...

alright.... i've done this much for my design... but i cannot find a horseshoe that looks right on it... can anyone help with the horseshoe??

Binion's Horseshoe was closed after members of the United States Marshal Service seized $1.9M from the casino on Friday, Jan. 9, 2004 to satisfy judgements for outstanding debts.

The Horseshoe in Las Vegas was opened again on April 1, 2004 under the ownership of Harrah's Entertainment.

The Horseshoe property in Las Vegas was transferred to an East Coast company earlier this year and the property was renamed to Binion's. Harrahs Entertainment also currently owns the Horseshoe name and properties that were previously held by Jack Binion, in Lousiana, Mississippi, and Indiana, as well as the WSOP name and tournament.

I dont think i really have to worry about the copyright laws that much because this will be a personal set and if i do decide to sell the chips i will take the labels off to avoid being thrown in jail

I've got a few clip art images of horseshoes. Here are two that might work. I can email them to you in a higher resolution/different format if you want them. They are royalty free images so no copyright issues.

I could clean up the gold horseshoe edges better, the original picture had a green background. Just something quick to show you what I had.

Maybe something like this....

The quality of the image is not the best, but you get the idea.

Of these two, I like the one on the right. Not sure about the rose (or what it signifies), but you usually want the horseshoe inverted like this, as it is symbolic of good luck.
