If you are trully doing these for your own personal set, then I wouldn't see why not.
I would let 10% know your intentions of keeping this a personal set and see if he thinks differently and go from there. He's the man.
Lets get this straight...a personal set is not 20,000 chips. I don't want to be seeing these chips on Ebay if you do make these. jk |

Chips: 49 | | | Off Topic from Poor Man Pharoahs for a moment.
More ideas I thought of for my chips:
1. Silent Movie Star Series (buster keaton, fatty arbuckle, ect.)
2. Stingers - using bee chips
3. IC's - using integrated circuit chip designs
4. Pirates Series - clipper ships, skulls, & gold doubloon design
5. World War II aircraft art - like bomber nose art ect.
6. Exotic Safari - animal artwork
7. 20's speakeasy series
8. Ninja Assasins & martial arts
9. World War I - Bi-Plane series (blue max ect.) |

Chips: 222 | | | How about classic muscle car logos. A bit of an issue around copyright, bit if they're just labels for yourself...
But if you could get the rights to do it that would be a cool chip series, I'd buy that.
Mustang logo, SuperBee, Corvette etc. |

Chips: 49 | | Thanks for the feedback. I'm not an artist, so my ideas are loosely based on what I think I can find as far as free public domain artwork/clipart assets.
Interestingly, I found several of the exact artwork used on the real Pharaoh's in free art areas. The artwork for the real $5 pharaoh chip can be found here: http://www.kingtutone.com/clipart/clipart1/
it's free use, but has a disclaimer to link back to the site if used in your web design and that the Clip Art my not be sold or purchased for any fees. I guess the creators of the Pharaoh chips must have paid a fee or something.
Here is another resource I found for seemingly free use egyptian artwork: http://www.aldokkan.com/clipart/clipart.htm |

Chips: 49 | | | I 'm sure they have proper permission too. I'm just sharing discoveries. No need for "blast" or even "stun" for that matter.
I did make a mock-up of the bee idea, but did not like my first attempt. Still in R&D mode with designs... | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
