There is a guy named Cin0s3 (Jason) on this board that has been very very helpful in not only making poker labels for people, but for providing a ton of information on how and what to do in regards to working with poker labels.
Some of the best looking 1" labels that I've seen are contracted out by Office Depot. They printed using a 4 color process and have excellent definition. They're not cheap though, I think it's about $120 for 500 labels. If you're looking for that level of quality, you might also be able to get a local printer to run the job for you and you'll be able to specify the type of material and laminate that is bonded to the label after printing.
Nah, you can't get that level of printing from a laser printer, though I have no doubts that Jason's work is top notch and will fit the bill more appropriately for this type of usage at a more affordable price. Printing from a print shop is more of an option for someone who has to have something of even higher definition.
Realistically though, I'd suspect that someone wanting that level of quality is more inclined toward getting compression molded with actual inlays or ceramic chips, where the artwork and laminate can't be peeled off.

I have already used both Lynbark and Jason´s services and they are both great.
My first try was with Lynbark and I left a lot of the design on his hands. On the middle of the road he came up with some incredible suggestions that really tweaked what already existed. Printing and shipping was very good.
My second come was with Jason as I couldn't find Lynbark´s email. And I am also a little lazy to find stuff in the Internet. Jason was granted a 100% ready design with little to no modifications to be done. On the other hand he was more than prompt to print and ship all the labels in a couple of hours. Printing quality is as good as Lynbark´s and shipping was good also. The person who was supposed to receive the envelope got problems and it got lost in a hotel but it ended up safely on my hands.
I would say that choosing between them it´s a matter of feeling of who will reply your emails faster. And they are both fast. They both have solid design skills as a wide experience of label designs.
Has anyone tried Best Poker Chip Labels, I placed an order with them this week for 2000 labels for my Nexgen 8100's. The proofs they sent me looked great. The labels are made of vinyl instead of paper, Has anyone used these vinyl labels?
I'll try to link you to some pictures once I get the labels and get them applied.
