I think the only clay chips that accommodate a commonly available label easily are those from Blue Chip, though the recessed area is about 1 1/8" and a 1" label can be placed off-center (bad in the view of many folks here; in reality not uncommon with real casino chips.)
There is a move and group buy for some thinner labels that are tentatively going on some ASM chips, however, I think we all (at least most of us) need to reserve judgement until the chips arrive, the labels printed, and applied to the chips to see if it all works out well.
