Re: Hot stamp or sticker?
I would say go with labels. If you go with hot stamping you cannot change it later. With labels if you come up with a new deisgn a few years downt he road you can just put on new labels.
The quality of labels, and the printing have come a long way in last few years. I would recommend the thicker 4mil.

Re: Hot stamp or sticker?
Sometimes you don't always have a choice. Hotstamping depends on the inlay (size and depth) and the condition of the chip.

Re: Hot stamp or sticker?
get multiple sets of both, but i prefer hot stamped...labels going for about $.10 a piece and hot stamp service the same if you are putting a set together, you might need some prep work first unless you are buying a complete set all done and ready

Re: Hot stamp or sticker?
whats the difference between decals and inlays? I thought inlay was just a main term for the middle part of a chip?
I obviously know what a decal is so Im looking for more of what the difference is

A decal or label (think sticker) is applied to a finished chip. An inlay is applied to the chip before its final compression in the mold and is pressed into the chip. It is virtually impossible to remove an inlay without damaging the inlay.

Re: Hot stamp or sticker?
thats what I thought. but had to make sure. thanks. Just need to wait and see if I can peel off the inlays on the grand victorias when I get them in a few days. Or I might be able to place the decals over the inlay if its deep enough.
