Need help finding a Paulson Fractional chip to relabel to fit my Paulson Classics
I need to find a good Paulson chip option to use as a .25cent chip in my existing Paulson Classics Home Cash Set-up. I looked at relabeling the $500 and $1K chip in that set, but don't like em as options. I also got samples of the Paulson HopHat&Cane 5K chip but found it to be silver vs. grey and don't like it too much as a fractional chip.
So I'm looking for chip options that in the Paulson house mold like the Classics, (without the ring around the edge of the chip). And with 412 Edgesopts (I think 412 = edgespots in four corners of chip, each edgespot with 2 colors).
Need to get a minimum of 80 chips.
Thanks for any help in advance!

Re: Need help finding a Paulson Fractional chip to relabel to fit my Paulson Classics
The blue 'Paulson Chips' mold chip is used as a 25c chip in the Pharaoh's set, and as a $10 chip in the Classic set. If you are not already using the blue Classic $10 chip, I'd re-label those as quarters. If you are using them as $10 chips, I'd ask "why?"
The Classic blue $10, purple $500, and orange $1000 chips are the only three chips that have the edgespot design you want (besides the Classic chips you are already using - white $1, red $5, green $25, black $100, I'm assuming). The Pharaoh's Club set colors and spots are the same as the Classics (except swap 25c for $10).
Other 'Paulson Chips' mold choices (although with different spots) would be the NPS gray NCV, the NPS blue 1, the NPS purple 500, and the NPS yellow 1000. That's pretty much it for a re-labeled quarter chip on a matching mold.
If it were me, I'd go with the Classic blue $10 with matching edgespots, with the NPS blue 1 or NPS gray NCV as second and third choices.

Re: Need help finding a Paulson Fractional chip to relabel to fit my Paulson Classics
This is great advice! Your right about the $10Classic being the most logical option, problem is....its my favorite chip in the set and I'd prefer to keep all the denoms.
So now I'm thinking of just picking up a good .25rack of fracs for the set. Maybe a Paulson unlabeled chip rack or something like that.
Anyone have any suggestions based on what's in the market?
Ideally something with 412 edgespots to match the rest of the set.

These might be an option? Anyone know if they are easy to relabel?
(rack on ebay) but auction ends in a day.
Not really sure what colors these are and how it would jive with the set.

mustard base, easy to relabel with 2mil vinyl labels.

Re: Need help finding a Paulson Fractional chip to relabel to fit my Paulson Classics
The more I think about it, the more I'm leaning towards relabeling the grey/black National chip. Same mold, different edgeposts, but kinda plain..a good frac chip. The $100s in the set will probably never hit the table anyhows. If they did we would have over 4200$ in play and my games don't usually get that high staked so it would work well I think.
Thoughts? Questions? Concerns? Narrow Minded Opinions?

Casino de Mexico chips take a 2mil label pretty well, if in good condition.
If you are looking for TH&C chips to relabel, there are two other Casino de Mexico chips that may be better choices. One is the black ~20~ chip, which has an edgespot pattern that matches your Classic chips. The other is the ~1~ chip from the same set: it is a brighter yellow than the mustard ~5~ chip, and is also available in a 4-spot configuration (not pictured) that more closely matches your existing chips. How many do you need?
I just looked at some of my chips -- and I think that the orange $1000 Classic/Bond/Pharaohs chip sure would make a pretty re-labeled 25c chip for your set, with matching mold and spots.

Re: Need help finding a Paulson Fractional chip to relabel to fit my Paulson Classics
The black chip is the same chip as the $100 chip in my Classics set so that is out. The 5 CdeMexico might be an option but it looks like three large edgespods vs the 412's in the rest of the set... my search continues.
Ohh I need 80 min chips, preferably 85-100.
Still considering that mustartd CdMexico chip and the grey/black Paulson Nationals.
Any other suggestions are great appreciated!

fyp.
As stated earlier, the ~1~ mex is also available with four spots -- I have about 50 of 'em. The 3-spots match my mixed tourney set as re-labeled 1K chips, so I bought 100 - and received about half of each 3-spot and 4-spot.

Ahh! Missed that. What are the edgespots on the 4 spotted 1mex?
That sounds like it might be just the ticket!!!
