okay dyeing professionals i have a question for you. Like I stated I thought it was very hard to get the same exact color when dyeing. I would make a new batch of dye after 2 sets of 20 chips. Using lnaves recipe, what if a guy were to use 14 cups of water, 1/2cup of vinegar and 2 teaspoons of dye and throw it in a 8 quart pot and then add the number of chips you want to dye (100 for example) stir them for the appropriate time. Would this work?? I would think the colors would be more consistant but i could be wrong. Anyone??? THanks.

Very interesting Kiwi. Thanks for the reply. If I am to do this again that might be the route I take. Again thanks.

I agree on the fuschia using less. You mentioned that it would keep them different from red. Mine look like they are closer to red than fuschia.
