Chips: 2,178 | | | Introducing the T&T Invitational chipset Finally finished my labeled Paulson sent. Went with 3 denoms (100-500-2000) for a STT set. I used Harbor Lights $100s and $500s and Tropicana Express $1s. Big thanks to Jason/Hogwild for printing the labels (2 mil).
The set “theme” goes with my other customs sets, and is called the “T & T Invitational, at the Chen Casino".
Here they are racked up (these are the cheapo Chinese racks, which I intend to replace with Chipco racks, but for now they fit 21 to a row…ick…)
Here are the starting stacks for a T30K for 10 players. 15-13-11 distribution.
The set can also accommodate a T50K deepstack tourney for 8 players using a 20-20-19 distribution.
I have enough 2000s to color up entirely to 2000s when heads up…as I wanted piles and piles of those sexy tropicanas on the table to finish the tourney.
The vinyl inlays (2 mil) are perfect for labeling mint uncirculated grand inlay paulsons. No hotstamp to feel underneath, and because I ordered a very snug fit, covering almost the entire recess, the labels do not catch when shuffling. They are also thin enough that they don’t touch each other when stacked, so ZERO spinners and they stack as well as the chips prior to labeling. Here are stacks of 160+ and they are SOLID as a rock.
And now for some miscellaneous pr0n.
Enjoy!

What a great thing to do with those Harbor lights chips, because let's face it, the inlay's on those things are fugly as sheeeeet. I've always liked the spots, the spots on the purple 500 are amazing! Combining it with the tropicana's, wow!
On the labels, how easy is it to tell they are lables? you said there aren't spinners, which is fantastic. Do they stay solidly on, to the point where when people walk up to the table not knowing that they are labels, they wouldn't be able to tell after playing with them?
Thanks. |

Are the original inlays on the chips smooth or cross-hatched? Do you have any worries about the labels coming off? ...what else...oh yeah, where'd you get the chips from?
Any reason why you have half the 500's aligned to a yellow and the other half to a peach? spot?
**edit - I'm sooo getting a 2000 chip on my next tourney set |

Chips: 2,178 | | | Re: Introducing the T&T Invitational chipset Thanks Drew,
It's hard for me to say because I'm the one who labeled them, but I think they look pretty good and not noticeable as labels. They are stuck very well...to the point where if I misaligned one, I had to really dig at the corners to lift and remove them. When removed, the label is pooched as they are so thin the process of removing them stretched them out.
We'll have to see when I get them into play what the folks say! Quote:

Chips: 2,178 | | | Re: Introducing the T&T Invitational chipset The harbor lights were textured and the trops have smooth inlays..once the vinyl goes on, they are indistinguishable by feel...Jason's 2 mil vinyl is great.
The labels are not coming off unless I dig at a corner and really pry at it, essentially destroying the label. As for alignment, yeah, for the purples, I aligned half of them to the yellow and the other half to the orange spot just for some variety. Quote:

I particularly like the gradients/color matching.
