Ok, so some if not most of you have seen my labelled Paulsons about 25 threads down. Well, I'll be honest - I liked the set, but it was too many denoms and really just too much. Plus, the recess on my white/green 25's was not deep and I didn't like it with Hogwild's standard labels. That and the fact that I hate that I had a $5 chip because I just start with 25 - that's how I roll.
Anyway, I re-labelled them. I did a few things differently than before. The 50c chips below have the "thin" vinyl labels. All other labels are standard. I also sprayed the labels with Krylon Matte Finish - it gives the labels a wonderful feel just like the clay and it removes the gloss of the glossy vinyl lables. I like them much, much, better. Finally, of course, I started with 25 and went from there. I also changed the design the slightest bit - put a small c after 25 and 50 for centavos and a small p after the 1, 2, 5 and 10 for pesos. It is Cuba after all!
Enjoy...
The full monty...
Some stacks and pics (call me Shaky....)
My wife making fun of my starting $20 chip stack - I kept telling her you guys would love these pics, she kept calling me a loser...
A faux pot...
So there you have it. Some things I love are that the chips all have different edge-spots and that the 2 peso chips incorporates all of the colors from the 25, 50 and 1. Also, we usually play dealers choice with a max $2 raise, so the bets can be anywhere from $.25 to $2 and the 4 denoms will work perfectly.
Ok, there you have it. I really could not be happier with this set.
