First post, forgive my naivite. I'm looking to buy custom labels and found slamdunkimports through ebay. Their website looked pretty solid and they had good feedback. I did a search on this site and was surprised not to find anything. Is this because they are a competitor of this site's sponsors or something? I see that many posters have had good experiences with Hog Wild, but his apparent backlog and temporary disappearance concern me (website is also subpar). Anyone?
I don't think it has anything to do with competition. This is the first I ever heard of them, but I have never been in the market for labels. All you can do is take a shot and report back. If you have a bad deal, most will tell you you should have waited for Hog Wild.
I had some rounders replica labels done for Nexgens with slamdunkimports. They are glossy paper labels so may not suit chips with a very thin recess.
From what I understand, vinyl will wear better as well as being thinner. But I bought labels from slamdunk and they suit me just fine. I only needed labels for a 224 chip travel set and went with a pretty standard design (teddy kgb rounders replicas) so was very happy with them.
If you're after custom artwork then there may be better options on this very site. But if you're after quick service, low price and the chips aren't going to be used every night then I'd certainly recommend my slamdunk experience.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We have relocated our office. We were hoping for a smooth transition. However, due to our inexperience, we are having major difficulties getting our systems up and running. We are temporarily stop taking any orders untill we are fully functional. We are refunding all our pending customer that have already paid. We thank you for your understanding. We could not with a clear conscience make are customers wait any longer.
So it looks like they are at least temporarily out of business. Oh well, I'll keep shopping around or see if I can find some blank 1" glossy labels anywhere and access to a laser printer.
So I shopped around and went with slamdunkimports after all. I couldn't find the Nexgen Lucky Bee's that I wanted (every place is sold out of half the colors) so I just went with Super Diamonds. They were so cheap that I bought 1200. I used the Krylon Matte spray and am very pleased with the results.
