Vinyl Labels

I am just wondering, is there anything that can be downloaded as a template for poker chips sizes?

MY Father in law runs a company that has Vinal Printers (he does shop signs and stuff) and he is willing to do all my labels for free, if he has some sort of template for printing and cutting it all out.

Anyone able to advise on this?

Re: Vinyl Labels

Anyone able to help with this, don't wanna email the guy that does it, cause he may think I am trying to steal business, but I am just trying to save myself a few quid and get it done for nothing, to see if it helps

Re: Vinyl Labels

onlinelabels.com has templates for various software packages. However, no provision is made for cut-lines. You may need to create your own template in something like FlexiSign or other print/cut software. Good luck.

Flexisign professional is THE WAY to go if he has it-- it allows registration marks to be printed so the cutter can cut the images properly.
No template needed- just import your image into flexisign, put a contour cut around it to match your chip diameter-then RIP and Print the images on whatever size vinyl the printer has- send it to the printer- and if he can- run it through the laminator first--
theres a bit more to it then that but thats the jist of it

Re: Vinyl Labels

I am going to see if I can get the make/model of it.

He has a few machines, dunno what does the cutting, but these are huge things, and aint sure if they will do such small cuts, in saying that I have seen some very fine detail on stuff he has done, which has been cut and put on glass.

Hopefully I will know soon, off friday so may pop out to see him then with me chips

Were running SUmma tangential cutters here- the important thing is: whatever cutter he has MUST have optical recognition sensors - this way the cutter can see the registration marks -- otherwise- the less expensive cutters can ONLY cut vinyl- you cant laminate THEN put the sheet into the cutter- with no marks to align from the cutter cant cut after lamination
