Hi chip people,

i have finally decided i'm going to get a set of bees from Jason at personalpokerchips.com and i need help with the design.

I want a badass old-school underground kinda theme. I want people to feel fear when they look at them. But i don't want gore. I want them to be simple and not too busy.

The name of my poker room is "Le carré d'As - Maison de Jeu" which means "Four Aces - Gaming Room" in french. I'm a fench canadian.

Here are my very first attemps. Yes i know, I suck with photoshop. That's why i need help. I use the colors in the chart located HERE to do the color matchup.

I don't want to use denoms because i will use them both for tourneys and cash games.

I will use only five colors:
-White
-Red
-Black
-Purple
-Yellow

This is my very first idea:

These are just basic ideas and obviously need a lot of work, but I'd like to know what you guys think of the general idea and the direction i'm heading.

I like the top chip the best but I think Maison de Jeu sounds better.

Have you thought about switching the suit for each color? Red chip- club, black- spade, etc, then keep the profile skull with the spade as your white chip.

Maybe one chip could just have the sickle?

Just some thoughts, but overall I like the design.

Go the Ace of Spade Death Card. Good start, I found that keeping things simple turn into the best labels. Are you going to have denoms? Or just the artwork?

Still needs work but i think i know where i'm going now. I want to use the same basic pattern on each chip but change the colors to match with the edgespots.

I will probably try to find a better font.

I won't use denoms since i want to use them both for tourneys and cash games.
