Chips: 5 | | | Nexgen "Lebowski" Labels - comments please Hi there,
My first post here, although i've been checking out the forum for a while now.
You guys have inspired me to come up with my own custom label design for a set of nexgen's, i'm planning on getting.
The labels are based on the movie "The Big Lebowski". Please let me know what you guys think of them.
Not sure what i want with the "time to bowl" one, but i like it too much, not to use.
And here's how i hope they'll look on the chips.
Thanks for the input,

If I were you, though, I'd be careful of the very dark images. In the scan showing the seven Nexgens the three on the bottom look too dark to me. The black and brownish ones to the left especially, but even on the lighter gold chip. Only other suggestion would be to tone down the writing a bit as it detracts a little from the images themselves and is a little busy with the chosen text-based mold.
Good luck on these. Really a great idea for a chipset. That 'time to bowl' one rocks - I see dealer button written all over that one.

Nice work! |

Obv. "Time to Bowl" should be your bounty chip... once your knocked out, "F it. Lets go bowling!"

Chips: 223 | | | Re: Nexgen "Lebowski" Labels - comments please It is not humanly possible to have a better theme than this.
However, they are too busy for my tastes. Consider these for alternate ideas; I grabbed them off of 2+2 a while ago:

Chips: 1,861 | | | Re: Nexgen "Lebowski" Labels - comments please I kinda like how busy they are. The cinematography of TBL was cluttered and confusing, lots of shots with too much to look at, etc (starkly contrasted with the important conversations such as "We cut off your weiner!" and "Throw the ringer, dude!"). This sort of continues that theme.
Speaking of... how about a nihilist chip? Value? Zero.

Chips: 898 | | | Re: Nexgen "Lebowski" Labels - comments please As a conversation piece, yes. To play with though, I think maybe tone them down just a bit. It's going to be tough just dealing with all the questions about the chips and their value from everybody. Quote: |
