Can I get a little help creating a cool label

I know how to use PS pretty well, but have only really made banners.. I want to try and make a label for some river poker tour chips. Here is what I have so far to use on the chip

I just need so direction where to go from here.. should I just make the APT curved around the top half and then the word tournament straight on the bottom.. should I put the A on top or bottom of the layer, or any other ideas etc.

this is what I mean by banner:

Re: Can I get a little help creating a cool label

One idea is to make your "A" a light grey and center it in the label. Then take Ayers Poker Tour and use a circular path around the edge of the label. Maybe Ayers at the top and Poker Tour at the bottom. Then over your "A" in the center of the label you could place your denoms in a contrasting color.

Or place the denom between the bottom of the "A" and Poker Tour (which has been done in a circular path at the bottom of the label).

Just a few ideas to start with. Good luck with the design!

Re: Can I get a little help creating a cool label

Here is where I am at right now.. the only thing that changes between the three is the number denom.. the color scheme is the same for each of them

I tried to upload the image at 5star and even though it met all the requirements exactly it said it was too big/other problem.. so I emailed them and told them the breakdown and attached my three designs to it.. hopefully they can fix it and we can get this baby rollin

Re: Can I get a little help creating a cool label

I like your design..SIMPLE IS GOOD...

here is my suggestion and maybe tomorrow i can mock somthing up for you...

stick with the A and the ayers poker tour on the front...no denom....
try the Ayers Poker tour in a bilboard style rather that an arc...it will look simple and clean and your A will stand out..since it looks like you are aiming to colorcode the 'A" to the chip..

on the back you can have a large denom in red/black over a grey watermark 'A'..with small/bold/capfont like trajan pro acred..... ayers arced on top..porker tour arced on bottom.

let me know if you want me help..You are starting with a great desing/concept so you can end up with a really great result!

Sounds cool, and I would certainly like to see any other options if you don't mind spending the time to do it..

front.jpg , red.jpg

front

changed my mind on the front....can use the billboard rather than the arc..BUT you have to off-center the A and ayers poker room is in an odd space...may be a little abstract for most tastes..arc is VERY classic..

back.jpg , redback.jpg

back
