Has anyone tried labelling the Suited Holdem chips from 5 Star Deal (
http://www.5stardeal.com/expand.asp?pro=9265&subcat=116)?
I am looking to buy the clear-out stock that Nevada Jacks has, and label them up for our local neoighbourhood tournament. Yes, they're cheap chips, but this is a tournament played with beer & pizza, so I don't want to risk my good chips.
Is the recess big enough/deep enough for standard 1" labels? Will the composite plastic stick well enough to keep the labels on there?
I'd get a sample and try it, but I'm in Australia and have a tight deadline - I'm flying to the US April 2nd, and will be picking up the chips and label stock then. I only have 2 days in SF and 3 days in LA to get everything together, so I'm trying to plan ahead.
One final request - I'm looking for a nice script font to use for the label text. The idea is to have "The Ridge" in block textin the middle, with a faint script "KR" behind it in the background colour, and the denomination in numbers at the bottom. The background colour would be a lighter version of the chip colour. I'm still working on an initial mockup, but I can't find a script font that's right.
