Chips: 13 | | | New to the board/chip design Hi...
I've been monitoring this site for a few weeks now, as a bystander, and today i decided to join in. I have already learned a ton of useful tips and tricks from this site, and I must commend everyone on their chip label designs.
On that note, I thought I would solicite some help/feedback with my design. I plan to have them printed by someone else, because I would screw it up. But, I have an idea of what I want to put on my Nexgens, so this is what I have so far.
I live in South Carolina, and around here, the state flag and symbol are popular. Our club is called Palmetto Poker and I wan to go with a South Carolina palmetto tree and moon design as the base. I created the picture here with a combination of Paint and Photo Editor, so this first draft is very elementary.
Feel free to redeign it with any of your better programs and/or provide feedback. I want "Palmetto Poker" somewhere on the chip...but I just don;t have the program to do so. |

Chips: 23 | | | Re: New to the board/chip design If you can I would increase the size of the Denomintation and maybe move the tree over to the left and put the denom next to it with the moon above. Just an idea, as my only complaint on most labels is the size of the denom. |

Chips: 13 | | | Re: New to the board/chip design That's pretty sweet... I would probably increase the "thickness" of the denomination font and perhaps incorporate the color of the Nexgens into the image somehow, but this is an awesome layout...it's simplistic, but is still has an impact to the player. Thanks, man.
Easley, huh? I grew up in Newberry, spent two high school years in Woodruff, and now live in Columbia.
Now, I just need to find a place to get these done...that balances cost and quality...

Chips: 1,728 | | | Re: New to the board/chip design Since you're going to need both artwork and printing, you'll probably realize the best value by contacting one of the label printers who are also members of this site, like Jason (CinOs3), Lynbark (Lynbark Designs), or the other Jason (Hog Wild). They usually include some artwork in with their printing at no additional charge, great value. Quote: |
