Smile logo design feedback appreciated

I'm new to the forum and really like this site. I was messing around with logo ideas for my poker table business and this is what I came up with.

I'll use these for business cards

For my chips they'll read: Independent Poker Club on front and back w/no denom.

Whaddiya think?

Re: logo design feedback appreciated

I know there's a rule about not posting url's or other advertising contact info on the site, but if you're using these as business cards, you might want to get some contact info on these...

The logo is nice, but the text in the white box seems a bit to "PowerPoint" to me. Maybe you can incorporate it as circular text around the perimiter?

Re: logo design feedback appreciated

The letters are kind of small.

My advice would be to do:

.........I
.........N
.........D
.........E
.........P
POKER E TABLES
.........D
.........A
.........N
.........T

I used period to make an indentation so that the letters look like a cross.

Right the name of your company in the cross itself.

Re: logo design feedback appreciated

Like the design.. Just need the Larger font.. That is the central part of the label.. Not the actual design...

Market the Name, Not the Design... You may also look into Nexgens, They have a Bigger insert for the label. The A K chips have a smaller 7/8 setup..

Looks good otherwise..

Re: logo design feedback appreciated

If you're going to use those tri-color chips, there a groove around the inlay area, so you'll want to allow yourself room for that when printing the label. If you want to allow yourself a little wiggle room, measure the raised inlay area where the label will sit and then reduce your image area by about 3/32-1/8" (seems like a lot but it's only 1/16" of fudge factor on any edge.)

Not crazy about framing your text, how does it look without it?

Re: logo design feedback appreciated

They look great on those tri-color chips, like it was made for them. Do go with the lager font though.
