Chips: 438 | | | Custom Labels on Paulsons? I have another thread in General Custom Chips and a guy was telling me maybe I could find labels to put ontop of Paulsons inlay.
Does anybody know if this would work or has anybody done it?
He recommended Rippedsheets, because they are very thin, although I don't know anything about printing labels and thier page heavily confused me haha.
Also I would like to know if you guys think that the chips will become a lot worse stacking because the labels are slippery?? I thought about it and also as I was reading a little about previous Label threads I noticed that people would constantly comment on the Stacking abilities of the label, which showed that this is an issue.
I aprreciate all the help, thanks. |

Depends I guess, some paulsons have a pretty good recess in the middle and make it pretty easy for a label to fit but the newest trademarks and Pharoahs are fairly flush so those would be bad, just see how much recess you have and use your best judgement |

I suggested it as a possible option but don't have any idea whether it would work or not. I know someone was advertising Paulson's this way on the net.
Don't the paulson's have a vinyl cover over the inlay? I seem to remember hearing this somewhere. If you could remove it somehow, may be an option.

The "vinyl cover" that hachkc refers to is the laminate that goes over the inlay on compression molded chips. Generally the laminate is pretty well bonded to the chip and you shouldn't be able to remove it, but on the Trademark Paulsons, you can indeed remove them, and it tends to make the inlay look like a label. |

Chips: 438 | | | Re: Custom Labels on Paulsons? why do i need to remove anything, i got samples of like 20 Paulson Pharaoh NCV and it seems like there is enough room for a thin label, will the label not stick to the plasticly cover over the inlay????
I don't see why it wouldnt, is there anyway I can get a sample of like 20 or so labels from some company and test it out??
I have no idea where to begin looking for label companies so if anyone knows one that will allow me to get some samples (THIN LABELS) I would like to try it out... |

I think there's a company called Ripped Sheets that can provide you with 7/8" labels that are fairly thin. If I recall, they come 80 to a sheet and runs about $5 per sheet, and about half that price if you buy 100 sheets. Quote: |

I mean the paulson really has very limited space, the thinner the better, i looked at rippedsheets website, but i have no idea what to do from there lol, i found the poker chip label page and still had no idea what to do.... hahaha

Chips: 1,728 | | | Re: Custom Labels on Paulsons? With reference to the Trademark Paulsons, I don't think you would need a Ripped sheet one, the problem is just getting a 7/8" label. You might want to also inquire with http://www.bestpokerchiplabels.com/ as they claim to do custom sizes as well, and they do print on vinyl. Those should have a deep enough recess to accomodate the label though you might have to remove the laminate to get the label flat in the recess. Quote: |
