Chips: 1,214 | | | My God help me... Just got my 1000 Nexgen Bees - started putting my ripped sheets labels on them - there is NOOOOOOOO room for error on these.
What do you do to:
A.) Kill the time...
2.) Ease the pain of numb fingers... |

Your fingers need to stay nimble, move them around a bit. If they start to get numb, it's time for a break or you're going to start screwing up the labels.
Don't try to do them all in one night, it's not going to happen. Allow yourself maybe 2 racks a night to keep your wits sharp about you. Quote: |

Chips with 2 or 3 stickers on one side all off center, you'd be a blue chip labelling machine!!!!

Chips: 1,728 | | | Re: My God help me... Prefacing this as purely a guess, I'd suspect that the problem may have been in the material that they were using for the inlays as it appeared to become distorted during compression molding (i.e. under heat and pressure). Insofar as slightly off center inlays, that can and does occur to some degree with casino chips as well and is most likely the result of manual manufacturing (you try and perfectly center every one of those! ). People who have applied labels to chips can probably relate.
Unless it's grossly off-centered it really shouldn't be much of an issue except for the uninitiated. Quote: |

How come ASM gets them done so well and they line up with the edge spots!? I've got a bunch of Pharaohs and I've not found a single one that was even noticably out of center (of sourse the inlay is completely diferent finish). I mean this is the one glaring problem, but as stated earlier they supposedly have taken care of this, the recent BPC chips are evidence of that. Hopefully from now on Bluechip inlay problems will be all "remember when" and they can gain some duly earned respect (I do love the blue chip color combos more than the paulson combos)

Bear in mind that ASM and it's predecessor the Burt Company has been in the business a bit longer, including the production of chips for the Paul-Son company for over a decade before Paul-Son actually started to manufacture their own chips. As kind of a new company, Blue Chip despite their family history in the business, one might expect some problems sourcing materials or inconsistencies in quality from vendors. Any company can run into that kind of problem (and Dod knows, I've had my share of headaches in that area as well with my work .) Quote: |
