Re: Labels

Normally I wouldn't ask, but your post is a bit ambigious.
Do you want printed labels or blank labels?
Can you print your own labels or do you need someone else to design and print them for you?
What kind of chips are these labels going on?

Re: Labels

What is your budget? What type of chip are you planning on using? How often do you play? Tourney or cash game? How many players do you need to accomodate?

The more of these types of questions you can answer up front the better answers you will get from the forum. Jason from Lynbark designs can probably help you once you have some better idea of what you are planning

Hope this helps

Re: Labels

Actually that's Jason (CinOs3) from www.pokerchiplabels.net; it's Brett or Lynbark (Lynbark Designs), and then theres another Jason (Hogwild) from http://www.personalpokerchips.com .

Re: Labels

I am looking for 1300 labels to be put on Nexgens and yes I want them to be printed with denominations on them. I plan on using them about once a month. I have never thought about printing my own labels so I will have to look into that. I want the label to be water proof but I do not want it to be a sticker that can easily be picked off with your finger. I have looked at several sites out there that will sell you pre-made labels and they seem more expensive than I thought.

Re: Labels

You'll probably want to contact one of the people here that print labels, Jason (CinOs3), Lynbark (Lynbark Designs), or Jason (Hogwild). You'll also want to check if any of they will do vinyl or poly labels if you want them waterproof, you should be prepared to pay extra for that, the vinyl and poly labels cost 2.5x more than paper labels. Labels aren't cheap, and labor costs even more. If these guys do a set of paper labels for $40 or whatever they charge, they're all but giving you their artwork labor for free (and it's probably worth twice as much as the labels cost.) If you're looking for cheap labels, I'm sure there's plenty of choices on eBay, but these guys seem to come highly recommended by members of this site. I should not that it does not include me, just because I do print my own labels, and from that perspective, these guys seem to do top-notch work.

Re: Labels

If you are only going to use them about once a month then you should be fine with paper ones, just hit em with a couple lite coats of Krylon preserve it before applying them. I have had paper ones on my cheap suited chips for a couple years now and they have been used 2-3 times a month without a problem. Dont worry about them pealing, usually once you put these on, their on. I have never seen or heard about one falling off. But there's nothing you can do about someone with a fingernail and some curiosity, except reach out with a firm slap!
