Was fooling around with some label ideas for those 10¢ chips from 5Star

Do you know if the label area is recessed (like a Nexgen) or is it flush with the rest of the chip? Some pretty cool possibilities you have there by the way.

Re: Some label ideas for those 10¢ chips

If those are the same ones Gameland Sports is selling as the "Inlaid Goldfield" casino chips, then yes the label area is recessed into the chip and should work very well for custom labels.

Re: Some label ideas for those 10¢ chips

They gave away these chips with a hologram "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign inlay with Camel Lights cigarettes and I examined the chips. They have a recessed area and when the inlay was placed on it was flush with the rest of the chip. All in all a nice difference from the regular composite metal slug chips.

Re: Some label ideas for those 10¢ chips

The cost of adding labels to those chips would actually exceed the price that Gameland Sports is charging for their chips with the labels. One would have to do it for the love of the images.

Re: Some label ideas for those 10¢ chips

Thanks. I was just fooling around with some ideas. Unfortunately, given the quality of these chips, I don't think I would actually invest any effort into producing an actual set of chips based on them. It would be nice to find some decent quality chips that could accommodate a 1.25" label though.
