Looking for design feedback

I am working with Jason for this order. Below is my first attempt at labels. I didn't like the idea of putting demoninations on the chips. I was just shooting for something cute, yet still classy looking

Any feedback is welcome

Re: Looking for design feedback

A nice simple design, with all the cuteness that you could want. The suits look a little, eh, random around the outside though. Maybe you could create a full rin of them instead?

Re: Looking for design feedback

i'd say those labels meet the criteria. they're pretty nice, if you're looking for something cute.

These look very good. I would only suggest maybe a small drop shadow. He looks a litle like he's floating...but thats about it.

These Look Great... Stay away from the Suit Border. Tends to get Messy. Jason Does a fantastic job on the Denoms Part as well. You should really consider it.. For Normal Home Games $5, $10,$25,$50 and $100 is the Norm... Let Jason set you up and take a look. He usually matched the denoms color with your chip as well.

Looks Freakin Awesome.

Re: Looking for design feedback

I don't know if the black ring around the labels on all of the colors except black is intended to be in the design, but you might encounter some problems getting it to print correctly off of a laser as there is always some printer creep, so it probably won't print properly. If you just let the gradient background bleed over the edge you should be fine. Alternatively, you could go for about a 1/16" black ring around the edge if you want. Personally, I think you would be better off with the gradient bleed.

Another alternative that you might want to play around with to see if it appeals to you might be to use the edgespot color of whatever chip you'll be using as the color for the gradient.

One other thought that I had was to just have the pig in the middle of the chip, and then have a ring of the suits around the edge of the label or to have the suits at equal points around the edge of the label (e.g. 12/3/6/9 o'clock)

Re: Looking for design feedback

The suits get a little lost on the black chip, you may want to modify them a bit.

Re: Looking for design feedback

Thanks for the input.

I took some of your feedback and reworked them a bit. Any further input from the board is welcome. You guys are great for doing this.

I should mention that the colors of actual "chips" in the picture are a little dark, so my denoms are actually matched to the true color of the chips.

Re: Looking for design feedback

They look good. Don't get pressured into a denom set if you don't want them though!
