Label Design Feedback Wanted

Here is my current label design based loosely on the Bellagio chips.

Very simple - clean looking design - I like it.

Is there any significance to the elephant?

The denominations matching the chip color is a nice subtle tie in - are you confident it will match up to the chip color?

I am not confident that the colors will match the chips because I have not received mine yet, and I can't wait! The faux clays will be my first real chipset. Once I receive the chips, I'll try to tweak the colors to get them just right.

The elephants are there because I am half Thai and the elephant is our national animal

They look good; however, on a one-inch label the elephants may be hard to make out due to their small size. Try a test label and see, but you may with to either make them larger or maybe replace the watermark "M" with a watermark elephant.

Hmm i tried printing some test picture with my so so printer and the elephants were kind of difficult to make out. If I use the elephant watermark do you have anyidea what I should put on the sides? I want to maintaina degree of symmetry.

Hmm... Eldrick Woods is also half Thai, but he seems to prefer a Tiger

I agree with Wylecoyo, you might want to try printing it out first in actual size (1") to see how well the elephants print out. I don't know if you want to try playing around with curved text for the name, but it might give it a little more flair as well.

Hey, thanks for the replies, I tried curved text in Illustrator, but IMO, it left too much open space between the denomination and the text.

Here is a sample with the elephant watermark and card symbols on the sides.

Now that looks classy! I can't really tell from the picture, but if the watermark is the same color as the denomination, you might want to try a neutral color for all of the chips so that the denominations don't blend into the watermark.
