I'm a big fan of writing out the denomination. Twenty Five or Twenty Five Dollars looks better to me than $25.

But on these the text is too hard to read. Otherwise nice graphics.

You probaly don't need a fifty chip 5-25-100-500 or 25-100-500-1000 or 25-100-500-2500 should do it.

Yeah, I was torn. There is no real good place to put a number on these labels. With regard to the 50 and the dollar thing - I agree, but these chips will serve as both my tourney set-up and cash game. We usually play $.25/$.50 so I need 50's. That is also why I don't want to put a dollar sign or write out dollars.

But, what about the pictures themselves, cool?

The font is too hard to read, but the graphics are pretty cool.

I don't know about the name though. If you're going to do custom labels, why would you use someone elses fantasy casino name?

Seriously give this a thought before you complete this label....the .50 chip is nice for the blinds I will agree...but, you could still accomplish this with just one more chip (i.e. just put out 2 25's) then you could add the 1000 but it could be worth $10 instead, nice for rebuys!!

Instead of the number of .50 chips you would have to buy, get more 25's and 100's it will make your set much more functional/versatile, you may not always want to play .25/.50.

I did the same thing when I created my set, I made 20's, and 50's. Now they are not used at all in any of my games. Meaning that 100 of my label chips are not used. A very big waste. Please rethink it before you commit to these denoms.

Just some thoughts from a fellow chip junkie......

The pics are cool but I had two first thoughts...

1) w/ that text don't overlay it on the pics

2) that the one samurai would be low denom... 2 higher, 3 more

Good luck & keep us posted.

Even though your cash games are 25,50 cents you still don't need the 50's. Two 25 cent pieces equal 50. But thats your choice ,other than that the chips look great.

Thanks for the input folks. I hear everyone on the $.50, but I don't think I am going to change that, although I am not sure. When we play our cash games, I just like having 3 colors in play. I mean, if I am going to go through the trouble to label all these chips and come up with a design, I want people to see them. In tourneys, I have found that the 50's don't get in the way as long as there are only 3 denoms on the table at the same time.

I will do something about font and the denominations. Finally, yeah, I really wanted to increase the number of samurai, but ultimately, I could not find a group of 4...
