Hi everyone,

All new to this forum and this is my first post - hopefully I will do well

Like everyone else I am also hooked on this great game and I am looking for a good chip set for my home games.

I live in Denmark and unfortunately it is almost impossible to get good chips here - if I want to have ceramic or clay, I can only get it in the US.

At the moment I am just browsing around and haven´t set my mind on any set yet - don´t even know if I am going for clay or ceramic.

But here are a couple of questions for you guys:

Do you ever ship group buys to Denmark also?
Have you any experience in shipping to Denmark - I want to keep the freight cost to a minimum.
Some suppliers only deliver in the States - would it be possible for one of you guys to buy chips for me and then ship it to Denmark?

To wrap it up I am looking for some good solutions for bringing chips to Denmark

You can get clay or ceramics at Marlow Casino Chips in the UK. The prices are high, and there are of course only a limited number of types available.

I think a few US vendors ship to Denmark/Europe. Again, as there are only few vendors, the choice is restricted. I think one of those who ship to Europe is Apache Poker Chips.

I believe that www.acepokerchipcompany.com also ships to Denmark and www.pokerchips.com definately does.

If you're after ceramics try to contact www.eurocoin.co.uk - they sell the full range of Chipco (originals) in Europe.

Best advice is to get samples. Of course that might be tough too.

If you can't get what you want, you might ask someone here to have chips shipped to their house and then they could ship to you. Offer $20 or so for their efforts and I would bet a bunch of people would offer to help.

I am aware of acepokerchips and pokerchip.com and know they ship to Denmark. Currently I have my eye set on Nevada Jack skull design (ceramic), which cost 199 $ for 300 chips at Nevadajacks.net - the same set cost 230 $ at acepokerchips.

Nevadajacks.net doesn´t deliver to Europe and it is things like that I want to avoid - of course I want the price as low as possible.

But I will take a look at the sites in Europe you recommended

And Nanook´s idea might come in handy when I have found my "dreamset"

www.all-in-all.dk advertises the NJ skulls (at 8 kr a piece). They don't have them in stock, though.

It is great to see these chips in Denmark - but at the moment that price is way too high...it would be cheaper to buy them at acepokerchips including shipping

But it means that the good poker chips are beginning to come in denmark - soon it will be available in Harald Nyborg
