Chips: 684 | | | I don't have the answer to any of your questions, but another thing they've changed is that they don't offer the edgespot variety that is shown in those images, nor do they offer the shaped inlay option (as shown in the Derby Gran set) for current fantasy sets. |

"to home customers..." | Exactly. That's why it says "for current fantasy sets" in the OP. |

Exactly! Any chance we will see these molds/colors/edgespots etc in the future home market? How many chips do you need to order to get exactly what you want, just like any casino would? 50.000 chips? 500.000 chips? Anyone have a clue of is this a question for GPI Gaming? |

Chips: 1,589 | | Look at these chips a bit more closely, they are all the same mold "Top Hat and Cane" They have just made them with different base colors and a variety of edge spot configuration.

| If you want to read a lot about this just go back and read about the Pharao's club chips. http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20
Bottom line is that at least for now they only offer to vary the insert graphics. Any other variation is not allowed. This is why you only currently see two options for new Paulson chips. There are a couple others that will soon be available, but sadly, once again only variation is the insert.
Min order was 100,000 for Paulsons. Ten has stated that they told him that it will be 250,000 from now on.

3. How many chips do you have to order from Paulson to create custom molds and what would the price per chip be? | 1. Different owners and management, different perspective on consumers/retail, lots of reasons... They now want to focus on casinos only.
2. Seriously doubt if we'll ever see Hat & Cane sold to anyone but casinos. One thing they sell hard to casinos is security -- so I think they don't want H&C chips that could have labels put on them and passed as real.

Chips: 684 | | I can't speak for GPI, but my understanding is that for the home/fantasy chip market, they're offering only one mold design, one inlay size and very specific base color and edgespot combinations. Quote: |

Chips: 653 | | | In direct contact with GPI and their partners, 250,000 is the min for a custom inlay design I do not believe they are offering custom molds to the home market, They made the "PAULSON CHIPS" w/H&C mold specifically for the home market and It will be the only one they offer. The Same goes for the edge spot colors, but I personally think that they will release some different colors in the future. |
