Nevada Jacks Composite Chip Wear. Discuss Nevada Jacks Composite Chip Wear, on ChipTalk.net the place to go for your Poker chips and gambling tips. Read it in Poker Chip General.
In doing my pre-purchase homework, I have read a ton of data pertaining to Nevada Jacks composite chips. My concern deals with the issue of long-term wear as several different accounts are in circulation with opposing estimates of their durability. Some claim the chips are practically indestructible, while others indicate they begin to show whitening around their edges almost immediately.
Could someone with better knowledge of this issue please clarify and, if possible, post images of older Nevada Jacks which have experienced some long-term use.
Thanks.

There is a thread over on 2+2 about some dude from hawaii who had problems with his DS's CHIPPING! Apparently it is a defect and NJ.net is going to replace them.
Sorry, was pretty busy... here they are (click for larger image):
the darker photo may show the contrast a little better. obviously it is not extreme wear... the white is just starting to peak through, but I have only had thse a short time, so it seems like fairly quick wear for the use they have seen.
