Ok here's my problem.

I live in France and I want to order some chips (500) to PC.com.

I've decided to go for a simple custom edgespots no inlay, and was ready to send the order, then I've realized I can't send the money to PC.com.

Why ? Well because my bank asks me for an International Bank Account Number (which is normal, in order to make an international payment you need this number), but PC.com says they DON'T HAVE one!

That's pretty wicked since (as far as I know), every bank account in the world has an IBAN (which is coupled to a Bank Identification Code). I've tried to convince my bank to use the Swift number PC.com gave me, but it's no good, they need that damned IBAN.

Can someone help me ? :(

I'm not sure why you are having a problem. I know PC.com gets wire transfers from all over the world including France. E-mail them with the exact information you need.

You can also go to the nearest Weston Union office. They wire money any were in the world.

Well if they gave you the rest of their bank info, that would presumably include the bank name itself. You could contact the bank directly and ask for that info. PC.com probably doesn't know what it is. You could also order through the group buy that is going on here in the group buy thread. Check that out, it may have what you want already.

I will be ordering some ASMs next week and as long as I have talked to them wire transfers is the way to go.
Let us know through the forum the news as I believe we have more people from outside the US that would be interested in this.

One other thing is that I understand that PC.com would charge customers only some weeks before delivery. Do they ask for immediate deposits for international orders?

Just as a note I will be in a biz trip to the US next week so I tried getting some faux clays in 5star and they didnt picked my credit card as well as they dont take PayPal. I decided I would give a try to Discount Casino Gear (http://www.discountcasinogear.com/).

My first set wasnt acquired from them just because I had not read anything about them. When I started making questions to many retailers they were the quickest to reply my emails. Just after I placed the order they sent me an email with delivery tracking code.

Next week I will make sure I post the results. But they do seem to be a very nice alternative for chip shopping: alternative payment methods (although I have read some nasty things about PayPal) and good responsive service.

Just as a note I have really well received my goods. I have not checked the whole package but the chips are there and seem very fine.

I am not sure why this specific realier is not as much discussed as others. Maybe it has more expensive prices but as it accepts PayPal it has already turned into my choice for chips.

Some retailers will work better for overseas customer but for N. America, the higher price could be a negative factor.

Great wolispenok, glad you got your stuff in time. What do you think of the Faux clay chips ? Are they that good ? Please let me know, I might get a thousand of these too ;)

They are fine. But they are not the treasure people talk about.
I believe it´s all you can expect (and maybe an inch more) from such a cheap chip. It´s surely much more pleasant than dice. I am not sure how do I measure them versus Nexgens.
I am really satisfied overall.

Back to the PC.com stuff I have just placed my order today and I am probably talking to my bank manager tomorrow to find out if PC.com has sent me enough information for a safe wire transfer.
