About two days ago I posted a message in the member-to-member section stating that I was interested in buying some of the existing casbah club chips to add to my growing set. Oddly enough right after somebody posted a message stating he was selling his casbah club chips. Too bad for me they were not quite the set I was looking for. However I got a PM about the chips from a different casbah club friend telling me he would part ways with his set.
I didnt think much of this but a day later (today) I went on ebay as I often do and looked up "casbah club". Low and behold a set of 300 casbah club chips showed up (a rare happening). I quickly purchased this set as I have already posted in the member-to-member section (look there for details).
I cant help but think that somehow I might have started this "casbah club frenzy" but it seems possible that this very forum might greatly influence the chips we see on the market. I think it is great that this forum is a place where you can ask and you will receive, thanks guys.
My advice to any of you looking to find a nice chip set is to post a message and maybe you will be pleasently surprised.
well captin I dont know if it will always work but I am just encouraging people to attempt to create a make for the chips they want. Then people that have them might be more likely to sell their sets if they see that people want them.
Just a test though!
