Bigger sets or more sets

So our game rarely has more than 10 guys, so do you generally buy a larger set or just the amount needed and get multiple sets?

Re: Bigger sets or more sets

Rarely have I ever needed more than one table, so I go with more sets. Variety is the spice of life, so why not mix it up a bit? On the other hand, my sets naturally grow a little bit since I'll see odds and ends listed in the WTS.

A set is not a set with at least 1000 chips.

If your starting stacks are between 500 and 2000 chips/each player you must have big sets....

...and multiple sets are a given. (really old pic, but you get the idea)
