1. What do the little chips we accumulate mean, along with the brand of chips. Is that just like other forums ranking systems for post count?
2. What do you think the best non-clay, nondenomination chips are in the 250 dollar range, not counting the NexGens. I don't really like them. I was considering getting the Vineyards, because I think those are the best chips I have ever seen, but 475$ for 500 is probably a bit outta my range.

The 10g faux clay chips get good reviews, and at a very cheap price.
I don't know about "the best" but these are pretty good for better looks than the faux clays, and with edge stripes. They feel somewhat sticky and stack pretty well -- they're not slick and plasticky. You can get them with denom stickers or without.
I have the Neophytes and I'm quite happy with them. If you want all nondenoms, I'd go with the Kingpins (www.acehighsupply.com). I believe these are better than the stickers that BPC uses for their nondenoms and they are the same chip.
As for the faux clay dice chips, they are good chips but I would put them in the best value and probably not the best chip category.
