I like Desert Sands better than some Chipco designs, but not better than all Chipco designs. So which way should I be voting?

DS: feels better.
DS: sounds better.
DS: looks? ehhh. . .
2 out of 3 means I've got to vote DS.

Because they are both so similar and Desert Sands are so much cheaper, I vote for DS.

The best ChipCo is better looking by quite a bit, but not enough to off-set the price differential of 2:1

Chipcos, man.

Colors are more intense. Don't care for the texture on the DS. DS feels too "soft" to me (hard to explain what I mean in words, it's a "feel" thing). That being said, the DS are good at the price you pay. Not knocking them overall - just comparing them heads up.

I voted Chipcos. I like the feel and the sound of them better (plus the customization option).

If "bang for the buck" were my primary consideration, though, the Desert Sands would have my vote. They're terrific chips!

chipcos - i like the feel just slightly better. the graphics are better designed and more eye catching. the chipcos have a lighter sound but that doesnt hurt them, they still sound like a classic casino chip. chip tricks are easier to do with chipcos but i never consider that a factor when judging chips, as i know some people do (considering that dice chips are probably the easiest to do them with). stackability would probably slightly go to ds. and smell would go to ds. they smell better comming out of the box and pick up smell better. so bing bang bing chipcos and ds go the full ten rounds, but chipcos pull it off by decision

DS are great chips no doubt but I am a graphics man so I must go with the chipco sets and like someone mentioned earlier in the post if money is the issue you cant go wrong with DS either...
