Chips: 29,466 | | I kinda like those chips. The old west theme has some appeal.
I've been to Deadwood, but I've never been to Cairo -- so I ordered the Pharaohs.

Chips: 41,578 | | | BTW, Trademark called today. They got a call: Apache feels that the Phaorah's Club group buyers (specifically me) were trying to organize a boycott against Apache, and Trademark just wanted to know what's going on. I let them know that it was just a few comments here and on other boards after Apache posted odd things regarding our Pharos order. I made it clear that no one has control over discussions on baords, there are thousands of people talking back and forth about whatever they wish. I made it clear that NO ONE here, especially me, has condoned or supported any boycott against ANY company. I feel that any company has any right to sell whatever they want without interferance from aother parties, and I have no wish to harm another product line.
I hope the same respect would be afforded to our group buy: That no one or no company will do anything to try to harm OUR order. We are just a bunch of guys that want to get some great chips, and we should be able to do that. |

That idiot started this mess, and now he's reaping what he sowed. The fact that he complained to Trademark about it just makes me laugh. I hope you gave Trademark the complete story regarding his instigation of this entire incident.

Chips: 53 | | | Not a bad design, but if I had the money for new chips in that price range, I would be going with the Pharoah group-buy. |

Boot | Well, I only said good things about Apache to Trademark, and told them that Josh and I have exchanged emails and I have tried to make it clear to Josh that we our group buy certainly is not trying harm his new chip, and that I hope his new chip order is not trying to harm our Pharos group. I can only hope that I'm right.
I didn't tell Trademark any specifics about what Apache's Deadwoods sales page said, I just made it clear that it is what started the controversies on all the discussion boards. I made it clear that I like Apache and wish them no ill-will, and reassured them that ChipTalk doesn't condone or support any kind of boycott whatsoever. I can't control what buyers do or what Apache does, and they understand that. |

I totaly agree that it was a blow bellow the belt on the comparisson picture that he put up with the Deadwoods and the Pharaos along with that somewhat condecending text...a vendor you can trust...
But do you think he should provide the chips without profit for that sake? |
