I was just compareing Blue Chip chips to Paulson chips. I can't believe
these two chips are from the same family!!! If my info is correct the people that owned Paulson, now make Blue Chip. Are the Blue Chips really as bad as they look? I might be missing something, but on the surface, i can't believe these two chips are made by the same people. I'm
wondering how the Eddy's could look in the mirror and face themselves, makeing these Blue Chips after makeing the Paulson's. Shame on them!
I'm thinking that the Endys probably had to sell all their manufacturing techniques, clay material recipes, and equipment to GPI Corporation when they sold the Paulson business to them. So they had to abandon all of what made Paulsons so great and instead had to come up with a whole new way of making chips, which happens to suck. Either that, or they got mighty lazy sitting on all the cash GPI probably paid them, and no longer really give a rat's ass about making a quality product anymore.
The Blue Chip's I own are certainly second class to my Paulsons, but I wouldn't say that they suck, especially when compared to many other chips out there for home use
I do wish that they had come up with a more interesting mold and not a "this feels cheaper than a Paulson" product, but overall they are pretty decent.
Until you put them next to Paulsons, you really don't notice that they are bad out of round, all different sizes, and the colors at the very edges looks kind of like bad plastic. You would think they would have some pride in their legacy!
I just can't figure how they can go from so good-----to so bad!!! It must have taken EXTRA effort!!
Ya, NJ'S aren't bad. I'm talking about their Clamshell (flames) chips. I guess the clamshell are supposed to be Blue Chips company chips. The NJ'S are definitely better. So why is their company chip so bad?

I agree- the "clamshell" mold chips I've bought are second rate to the Paulsons.
