Sometime in the late 80's or early 90's got a 100ct box of white "clay" diamonds, 25 red's, 10 green's, and 10 blues. The box of whites was around $40 and the others were like $.45 or $.50 ea. Well worth it at the time. Seamed like we alway got a game going every Fri. and Sat. at the bar or after closing. People always wanted to play 'cus "this guys got real chips!"

bakelite chips are pretty cool.

The first set I got was the Marlboro set about 11 years ago. I was in college and actually said "Boys, it don't get no better than this!"

Then I hosted a tourney about 8 years ago and bought the "nice" diamond "clay" chips. Paid about $230 for 900 chips. People thought I was crazy buying such "nice" chips.

Now, they think I'm totally mental with my custom Blue Chips.(pics comin soon)

Ultimate Casino Rollers

First set was Ultimate Casino Rollers...about $130 for set of 500. Not bad, not great. They definetely have the feel of plastic and the sound of metal; o.k. looking. But, then I got the bug of being a chip freak and have ordered a set of NJ Clays. And I'm sure it won't stop at that.

ops: 750-11.5 gr. suited comp. for $119 plus shipping, can't remember from where. Didn't know at the time about e-bay or that you could actually get chips other then white, red, blue, green or black. Then i got a little educated, added some different colors and DIDN'T pay to much for them. So, after getting 1300 chips and now more educated, i'm going to the next level. 8002 NEXGENS probably an assortment of a 1000 for cash and tourney play(oh, that's what those purple and yellow are for ). With some labels from Jason. That will hold me until the third and final level of(drum roll please) PAULSONS
